RIGID, SMOOTH & DETAIL
Our Detailed Plastic, also known as SLA Detailed Resin, is produced by SLA Industrial 3D Printing process. This 3D printing material can capture an extreme level of detail with smooth surface finishing with almost non visible 3D Print layer lines. This is a rigid material that is recommended to be used for fit testing, design verification, high quality visual prototype, figurines and parts that does not require demanding or thermal properties. Our Detailed plastic is formulated to be slightly more durable and heat resistant than standard resin material out there.

STIFF, INTRICATE & FINEST DETAIL
Our High Detailed Plastic, also known as SLA High Detailed Resin, is produced by SLA 3D Printing process. Consider this option when you require even more demanding precision, detail, and slightly improved heat properties from Detailed Plastic. This is a rigid material that is recommended to be used for miniatures, small intricate parts that would otherwise be challenging in any other 3D Printing Process. This material is probably one of the finest resolution 3D Printing can attain.
SMOOTH QUALITY
Right out of production, this material is smooth in texture and white in colour. We provide support removal and cleaning as a default finish, giving it a polished smooth matte white finishing. Other colour options such as black, translucent, transparent is available as a SLA material variant. This material is probably the easiest 3D Printing material to post processing in the event you wish to paint it. However, for more aesthetic demanding applications, we can also provide further post processing to attain full gloss, near injection moulded aesthetic under our 2K spray painting services.

DETAILLY CRAFTED
Our Detailed Plastic or High Detailed Plastic is detailly crafted by industrial SLA equipment. Using Stereolithography Process also known as SLA, parts are precisely constructed by curing photopolymer with strong laser beams at fine resolution. During the build process, pin like support structures is used to bridge overhang region, allowing production of intricate detail parts. One of the benefits of using SLA process, is the widely available photopolymer materials from rigid, tough, transparent to flexible. Our Detailed Plastic is produced at about 0.1mm layer resolution. Whereas our High Detailed Plastic is produced at 0.05mm layer resolution. Finer layer resolution option is available at 0.02mm upon request.

DESIGN FOR SLA DETAILED PLASTIC

Minimum Wall Thickness
We recommend the following minimum wall thickness:
- 1 mm (parts smaller than 10 cm)
- 2 mm (parts between 10 cm to 20 cm)
- 3 mm (parts larger than 20 cm)
Parts with Sufficient wall thickness is crucial to ensure successful print.

Embossed and Engraved Details
For Embossed Details: Recommended minimum thickness of 0.5mm and height of 0.5mm
For Engraved Details: Recommended minimum thickness of 0.5mm and depth of 0.5mm

Clearance for Fitting
It is very important to allow clearance between the space of 2 objects, so as to give a freedom of movement between the gap. We recommend:
- 0.1 mm (tight fit), 0.2 mm (standard fit) and 0.4 mm (loose fit).
You are advised to test out several iterations to attain a perfect fit.

Hollowing Model
It is highly recommended to hollow out solid models to reduce cost and avoid shrinkage issues. We recommend:
- Wall Thickness of 2-3mm for Model below 35cm
- Wall Thickness of 4-5mm for Model between 35-60 cm
Include ‘Escape Holes’ to your model so as to drain excess material. It is recommended:
- At least 4mm ⌀ for smaller models
- At least 8mm ⌀ for larger models
- At least 2 holes
- Add multiple holes for larger models

Reduce Warpage
For models with large flat unsupported planes, there is a risk of warpage. To prevent this, consider adding ribs as reinforcement to combat this issue.

Avoid Multiple Parts in a single file
Uploading multiple parts within a file may cause unnecessary delay in your order due to processing issues. Simply upload each part file separately for a smooth transaction.
